Create an account
- Go to the signup page.
- You must include a username and password. The email address is optional, but it is a very good idea to fill this in, in case you ever forget your password. The email address will not be visible to anyone on the site.
- You can also include a real name. This is not mandatory, but it will help in correctly attributing your work on this site to you.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If you receive this email, click on the link in the email and your email address will be confirmed.
Find a page
- Enter the name of the page, or some text in the page in the search box on the right.
- If you click 'Go' it will look for a page that matches your text exactly.
- If you click 'Search' it will look through all the pages on this wiki for occurrences of that text.
Edit a page that already exists
- Click on the edit button at the top of a page and start adding text.
- Wiki pages are created using a very simple code. When you click on the edit button you will see some of it in action.
- The Sandbox is a special page for testing, where you can play around with wiki text without effecting a 'real' page.
Create a link to a different page
- When you are editing a page, you can put a link to another page with the following wiki markup:
[[Page Name]] Replace 'Page Name' with the name of the page you want to link to.
Make sure to save your work. After you are done editing, click on the save page button near the bottom.
Creating a new page
When you are editing an existing page, you can add a link to a page (as describe above) that doesn't exist yet. After you click on the 'Save Page' button, you can click on the link to the non-existent page. The wiki will assume that you want to create this page and will show you a text box to
